Is there any way to check the iso, or is it just trial & error?

I managed to do an upgrade, and then install a fresh copy of Windows 7 32-Bit, but are still unable to install the 64-bit

This sounds TOO weird, but I will give it a go. Would the disk not complain if its bad? I am re-burning it now, and will also use a friend's disk that had a successfull install... Will keep you posted.

I burned 2 copies, on the same writer using the same disks, I could get 32Bit to work, but not 64Bit, Think it could be a bad disk? Because a friend of mine used the same writer and he is running 64Bit fine, but he has a different MB

I Got mine to work, and here is what I did: I booted Vista, and did an upgrade. Upgrade went fine without asking for any drivers. Upgrade completed, and I then tried to do a clean install again. I was asked for the drivers, but this time my 32Bit Vista drivers worked fine, and I was able to...

Same problem for me: I Have a Asus Striker II Formula Board with SATA Drive and SATA DVD drive. Tried the latest Windows Vista 64Bit Drivers, but no luck. The same thing happens when I try to install the 32Bit version. I am out of ideas, and want to try windows 7 so badly :(

Hi All, I wanted to install Windows 7 today, but I get stuck when it asks me for drivers for my SATA DVD Drive (Asus 2014L1T Drive). I have tried selecting the Drivers from the Motherboard CD, but nothing seems to work.. I am installing Windows 7 RC7100 64Bit, but it happens on 32Bit...
