    Windows 8 Trying to change AHCI to ATA and can't because F2 boot doesnt work

    When I hit the "F2" key to boot, it is forever stuck at the initializing system diagnostics screen. I tried running it in safe mode as well. Am I going about this wrong? Can I change the SATA settings in a different boot menu? I'm running the newest update of Windows 8, HP pavilion envy dv7 8 GB...
