So I updated the BIOS, but after checking for Windows 11 updates, I'm still on version 23H2. I guess my laptop isn't eligible for 24 in spite of what HP says. Thank you for all your help!

Not only do the drives function on another PC, but they also function on my laptop when running Linux!
