    Thanks - certificate was valid, but in view of all the yahoo problems I have switched everything to microsoft. Yahoo calendar no longer offered, and the email quit working on their site when I opened windows mail accounts. Oh, well.

    When I open MS Edge browser, a text appears (seconds later) on the address bar to the left of https. My home page is my.yahoo.com, which appears to be the only site so affected. Any advice? Jim B

    I understand the password need, but am perplexed as to why the restart and log-off mechanisms are different. Is there an explanation? JB

    I have removed log-in password requirement (netplwz > uncheck password requirement). Then when I reboot, the password is no longer required.
