PCLinuxOS latest kernel, (5.2.14-pclos) is smooth and rocking on both my computers. I have tried Ubuntu, Kbuntu, Mint, Mageia Linux, and more. I keep coming back to PCLinuxOS-kde . It is a Linux OS that is easy for a newcomer, yet crazy tweakable.

I'm from Canada. So I change it to English (Canada) for the correct spelling in my country. Or just download a British-English iso and use it. British and Canadian English is very much the same.
I used to use Ad-blocker, but after a number of friends like Ublock, I tried it and was sold on it. For downloading videos I use FVD downloader, with the FVD_Downloader_Module_1.0.8.msi extension. The odd video it won't get from YouTube, I just login using my Gmail account.
In the past mind you.... I have found that if you want to get rid of Avast, good luck. You can do the add/remove thing. Then go into hidden files/ user/name/ In there it is still exists. Plus one of the folder refuses to let you remove it, even after a reboot. I got rid of it by booting...

Windows 8 wasn't bad. It just ain't as good as Windows 10. Guys/Gals it's sad but true. I to go back to Windows 7 & 8 the odd time... just for old-time sake. But Windows 10 IS better... sorry.
