PCLinuxOS latest kernel
PCLinuxOS latest kernel, (5.2.14-pclos) is smooth and rocking on both my computers. I have tried Ubuntu, Kbuntu, Mint, Mageia Linux, and more. I keep coming back to PCLinuxOS-kde . It is a Linux OS that is easy for a newcomer, yet crazy tweakable.- Joey1394

Windows 10 Windows 10 will not boot, boots into "Preparing Automatic Repair"
I have 4 hard-drives, and I don't unplug them for a install. Although Windows likes to install to the drive on the very first sata plug. Linux is easy going as to which hard-drive it gets. Though the grub for dual booting has to on on the first drive. When I've gotten "Preparing Automatic...- Joey1394

Sounds good. I dual-boot with Win10 & PCLinuxOS-kde. Mint is definitely better than the parent Ubuntu. Sent from my LM-G710 using Windows Forums mobile app- Joey1394

CCleaner Version 2.09.600 Released: Enhanced Browser Support and Improvements
Digerati, I appreciate your un-bios view. I do like Bleachbit more... and yes it is more advanced... not for the novice. It can Kill the wrong stuff if you are a newbie.- Joey1394

Is possible to delete(uninstall) the language which is Windows Display Language?
I'm from Canada. So I change it to English (Canada) for the correct spelling in my country. Or just download a British-English iso and use it. British and Canadian English is very much the same.- Joey1394

You're favorite addons/extensions
I used to use Ad-blocker, but after a number of friends like Ublock, I tried it and was sold on it. For downloading videos I use FVD downloader, with the FVD_Downloader_Module_1.0.8.msi extension. The odd video it won't get from YouTube, I just login using my Gmail account.- Joey1394

Windows 7 Which Anti-Virus do You Use?
In the past mind you.... I have found that if you want to get rid of Avast, good luck. You can do the add/remove thing. Then go into hidden files/ user/name/ In there it is still exists. Plus one of the folder refuses to let you remove it, even after a reboot. I got rid of it by booting...- Joey1394

You know……... I had Windows 7 again on my laptop just 2 weeks ago... out of total boredom. (I do have a legal win7pro that I bought for 195.00 a month after it came out). BUT it would not let me have the last 107 updates, not matter what I tried. There are pluses to how it lets you use the...- Joey1394

Windows 8 wasn't bad. It just ain't as good as Windows 10. Guys/Gals it's sad but true. I to go back to Windows 7 & 8 the odd time... just for old-time sake. But Windows 10 IS better... sorry.- Joey1394
