A Clean Install is always better.. If you are going to be playing any Games that require OpenGL, you might want to consider dual booting the OSs (Vista/XP)... remember, this is still beta (if you have it right now), and the final release should be more compatible with legacy stuff. Regards

Same Issue Here I have the same issue when running any of my OpenGL games. The software vendors say that it should work if we have the latest drivers for our V-Cards. I'll have to do more research on this. I'll post my findings here.. if there are any.

what kind of modem/router are you using? Does the modem/router have itself set to "plug-and-play"? The Internet Gateway that you are talking about is usually because of this. do you have the modem/router connected with USB or Ethernet? (hint: try to never use USB if you can help it.. much...

Sounds like your router might have encryption enabled... or the IP address for your card isn't being assigned. Check to make sure that you have an IP (if not you should do that manually) then make sure that you WEP settings (if this is what you are using for encrytion) match the router. Keep...

Uninstall the device, then reboot, then install it upon reboot with the new driver... DO NOT allow it to auto-install the driver for you.. telll it where the driver is. Hope that helps. (assuming you didn't already do this)

You're right that is very puzzling. have you tried to get any of the Vista Updates? What build are you using? --- NOTE: the product Key for Vista is good for 10 different computers. Once you Auth one... you can auth it as many times as you need to, just like XP.
