    Windows 7 Virtual desktops

Not sure I'm clear on what you are talking about. If you are referring to having a "VirtualBox" server located within the OS itself... no. there are no plans for this in the near future that I know of. Vista can barely handle it's own processing consumption, let alone that of another OS at...

Windows Vista ATI Vista drivers and 9600xt Video Crd

Just for the record. I have given up on Vista for now. The only viable version is Ultimate, and not too many people can afford that. I have switched to Ubuntu Linux and offer a conversion service to my clients, they only have to pay for it once, and that isn't for the OS.. just the service...

Windows Vista Free Satellite T.V. For PC

I have received some email ads regarding that too. I checked it out and found out that they do not have the quality that they are claiming and their channel lineup is mostly out-side of US (lots of foreign channels). Their software only connects to internet links to the TV station that is...

Windows Vista Post your system stats. Will you upgrade to Vista?

2.8 GHz / 1GB DDR / 80GB HDD (3Parts) / Vista Ultimate RC1 I'm only going to stay with Vista Ultimate IF M$ fixes the OpenGL and Legacy issue that I am having... other than some isssues, I am actually pleased with this OS.

Windows Vista Clean install vs Upgrade - Stability

A Clean Install is always better.. If you are going to be playing any Games that require OpenGL, you might want to consider dual booting the OSs (Vista/XP)... remember, this is still beta (if you have it right now), and the final release should be more compatible with legacy stuff. Regards

    Windows Vista OpenGL?

Same Issue Here I have the same issue when running any of my OpenGL games. The software vendors say that it should work if we have the latest drivers for our V-Cards. I'll have to do more research on this. I'll post my findings here.. if there are any.

    Windows Vista ?Disable Internet Gateway?

what kind of modem/router are you using? Does the modem/router have itself set to "plug-and-play"? The Internet Gateway that you are talking about is usually because of this. do you have the modem/router connected with USB or Ethernet? (hint: try to never use USB if you can help it.. much...

    Windows Vista Vista drivers problems

An amendment to my last post.... I still have trouble with some games and IP tunneling software, so I dual-boot with XP for this.. until the fixes come out. and I also found a nice program for these ISO files that i couldn't mount (d/l from the web of course... the Virtual Drive that is, not...

    Windows Vista Vista drivers problems

Well... you should try to install and run those pesky programs under XP compatability mode (that worked for me)... As for the drivers, um... wait for the updates? I still have yet to have a problem that I couldn't solve with good-old-fashoned "Trial & Error". I have found the the generic...

Windows Vista Rc1 Wifi Not Working @T @ll

Sounds like your router might have encryption enabled... or the IP address for your card isn't being assigned. Check to make sure that you have an IP (if not you should do that manually) then make sure that you WEP settings (if this is what you are using for encrytion) match the router. Keep...

Windows Vista Vista on Partitioned HDD

Absolutly... When you go tonsall Vista, just make sure that you target the partition that you want to use. Vista will install it's bootloader and you can choose which OS to use. (Defaults to Vista) NOTE: I hear it is rather diffucult to remove the bootloader but you should be able to...

    Windows Vista nVIDIA Go7200

Uninstall the device, then reboot, then install it upon reboot with the new driver... DO NOT allow it to auto-install the driver for you.. telll it where the driver is. Hope that helps. (assuming you didn't already do this)

    Windows Vista Authentication problem

You're right that is very puzzling. have you tried to get any of the Vista Updates? What build are you using? --- NOTE: the product Key for Vista is good for 10 different computers. Once you Auth one... you can auth it as many times as you need to, just like XP.
