I have heard bad things about that driver. Try to d/l and install the 185.85 drivers and see if it helps.

I just had problems with the Nvidia geforce 186 drivers. Which driver are you using?

If you have the driver disk that came with the adapter then just use device manager and manually update the driver by having it search the disk. It should work from there. This is what my friend does.
