In BIOS i don't know how to look :-) But in Device Manager it lists the full name of device - CD/DVDW TS-H652L I tried to List Volumes (in command prompt - diskparts) and it says also there I have Type DVD-ROM unit on D: but if I have a DVD in when going to D:, says device is not ready or has...

it acts like there is no disc - doesn't open autoplay or when I try to open the drive in explorer, asks me to insert disc

I just installed Windows 7 (from USB) and when trying to install Office from DVD found out that my computer cannot read DVDs anymore. For CDs it works fine. I have TSST corp CD/DVDW TS-H652L ATA device (HP desktop). Tried updating driver, removing device and reinstalling,... no matter what I do...
