I am running it right now at 64mb ram and I run it before at 32mb ram.

Since I run laptop, I only use 1280x800. UAC is off. What's the difference in ram assigned? I gave it 64mb, didn't have a need for any more.

Thanks for the reply. My bios options are very limited and don't include anything related to CPU. I am using newest drivers from Windows Update. Also, over a year ago I used to use windows 7 on the same laptop without such problems, before I switched to Linux.
