Can't explain it but the problem just disappeared. I did download the 8/6 update and maybe the fix was in it. Don't know, I suspect I don't care. The problem is gone. thanks

After I updated on 8/5/2019 all apps pinned to the taskbar were removed and I am no longer able to pin an app to the taskbar. Is there any way of restoring my ability to pin apps to the taskbar?
