I had the same problem with Asus P5PL2 and installed an older vista driver from 2007 and it works however Soundmax-utility in systemtray is unavailable. This driversetup is for Vista Ultimate 32 bit and works with Windows7 32 bit Don't have a link where to get it but i can send driver package...
