Windows 7 No Permission: I Am Only Admin

thanks for the suggestions. i'm gonna try the command prompt commands... see how that works first. if not, i'll go ahead and try the application. restarting does usually work, which leads me to believe it might be a deeper problem then just permissions. it seems to happen randomly.

Windows 7 No Permission: I Am Only Admin

i am constantly getting permission problems with this OS. it's unbelievably annoying, because i'll download a huge file with Firefox, and right as it finishes, it'll tell me i don't have permission on my D drive. i am the only account on this OS and it is the admin account. for example i'll...

Windows 7 Windows 7 Taskbar: A Step Backwards Aesthetically

again, you have no proof. instead of saying they increased the size of the taskbar so the start button doesn't overlap maybe... the taskbars size was increased, so that the new icons in the taskbar could be enlarged (the icons that have completely replaced window tabs). if you switch to the...

Windows 7 Windows 7 Taskbar: A Step Backwards Aesthetically

as i said, you're talking about 1-2cm. let's see some proof justifying your statement, but referencing a task bar that has COMPLETELY changed, does not equal proof.

Windows 7 Windows 7 Taskbar: A Step Backwards Aesthetically

ok please provide proof, of the first part of your statement... until then that's entirely here say. more importantly, the oversized start button in Vista overlaps at best 1cm maybe 2. break out a ruler and see for yourself if you don't believe me. if you disagree fine, but how about stating...

Windows 7 Crysis and Grand Theft Auto 4... No Go

unfortunately that's still not fixing the problem. i'm having no issues installing. i know all the required installs files, and have been sucessful in getting them all to go. my problem appears trying to run the application where it starts loading the application and then disappears. no...
