Hey Randy, I was looking around the APPS page of Windows 8.1 and noticed that a couple of the programs that I deleted yesterday still had files showing up in the APPS page even though I deleted the programs, anyway after deleting the files in APPS, all is well and I can now cut/copy and paste...

OK I did a couple experiments, using the mouse, all issues were the same, using track pad and same issues but quicker results(seemed to close on me quicker) and last experiment was what you suggested and everything work OK

No, it doesn't matter the file type, it's just whenever I try pasting on the left window

Um, I don't know which application fixed the issue, but it's all working now, weird, Trouble, thank you for your wisdom, I did learn a lot just from reading your posts, I never new about the sfc/scannow program :up: You rock:peace:
