Everything over 3GB needs 64 bit operating system, XP or Vista. You have 4GB, right? 32 bit OS can use only about 3GB. You may 1GB sell and get money back :-)

U must check your bios and see in which mode you have set your SATA controller (IDE, AHCI, RAID). In case of AHCI or RAID, u must use when install XP press F6 and provide install floppy with drivers for your hardware. Or set your SATA controller to IDE mode and install XP without problems. But...

I dont know, why you have dropped performance. I have the old good AGP GF6800GT and when trying Splinter-Chaos Theory, all is faster. Loading, FPS and gameplay is smoother than in XP. I know so this dont help you, its only my situation.

Hi all. I have installed XP on disk C: and Vista on disk E:. Vista installs boot manager is on C:. I need reinstall XP, but when reinstall it, booting to Vista dissapearing. Exist solution to repair boot manager to previus state? Much thanks for any answer :frown:
