Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

My system is pretty nice at the moment, only difference with next gen intel or AMD will be the aethestics on the motherboard. I'd like a TUFF Asus board to be honest, they look amazing! Even a Maximus or Crosshair would be sick.

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

I've delidded the CPU to replace the TIM with liquid metal! Not a chance of an RMA unfortunately...I didn't even reseal the gasket and used the MoBo CPU clamp to hold it in place. Wanted to be able to replace the liquid metal in the future. It STILL runs at 3ghz stable, it'll do the job until...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

Put my CPU in to another motherboard last night. BSOD's again on stock speeds. Only seems to run stable below 3.8ghz. Not sure how the CPU is damaged and i'm unable to confirm through means of testing, which part of the CPU is actually broken. I find it crazy how it's been sat at 5ghz...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

I'm honestly not sure. I'll run a stress test on the GPU and CPU again tonight, with the software you've recommended, to see if that shows any problems. To reiterate, any issues i've had all seem to be relating to how the CPU is being ran. For instance, underclocking the CPU with everything...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

Hey Kemical I ran a CPU stress test overnight at a manual clock of 3.8ghz. Which is stock, yes. I did however, disable any boost functions in the BIOS. The CPU stress test ran for around 4 hours. Finishing around 3:30am. There was a BSOD shortly after the test, followed by two more BSODs and a...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

I had more of a play on the system last night. Here's a summary: - CPU manually clocked at 3.8ghz (stock setting) with everything set to Auto. - XMP Profile enabled (3000mhz) System boots, Windows OS runs fine. I tried to overclock the CPU above 3.8ghz and it immediately BSODs. Fault codes...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

Hey again. I tested the CPU at a lower clock speed and it failed due to it reading at 2ghz. I believe it'll always fail if underclocking, I think the diagnostic tool itself expects a stock reading or above, anything less is a problem. Pretty useless to be honest. It passed everything else...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

It was literally NTFS.SYS 90% of the time. The other BSOD's were relating to SYS issues. I've managed to find a temporary solution above :)

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

Morning Kemical Another forum suggested underclocking my CPU, set it from stock speed of 3.8ghz to 2ghz. Boots in to Windows 10 completely fine. Stress tested it at that speed, completely fine. Also tested the CPU with Intel's in house CPU health checking software, no problems with the chip...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

Same again. M.2 and HDD both removed. Unable to run from USB. It attempts the install then BSODs. A friend of mine suggested the motherboard may be at fault?

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

Unable to boot in to Windows recovery, it BSODs on attempting. Tried to run a Windows USB install tool. BSODs. That's including the removal of both my hard drives.

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

No I haven't tried every RAM slot. I'll try this tonight along with an array of other options I have. It's also worth mentioning that I've previously removed ALL SSDs, HDDs at this point and tried to see if a USB Windows Install Tool would run. It STILL BSODs with no drives connected on...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

Hi Thanks for the response. Yes, i've cleared the CMOS plenty of times now, i've even tried leaving the MSI feature of automatic clear of CMOS on BSOD's. I've previously returned the BIOS to optimised defaults on several occassions. XMP left off and overclock left off. It'll boot in to...

Windows 10 NTFS.SYS BSOD Loop - Unique Situation.

Hi This is my first post on the forums as i'm unable to find the solution online. I've searched all over Google for a similar case to mine and i'm yet to find any. I recently ran in to a BSOD during gaming on Windows 10 64-bit. It occurred when I was playing Black Ops 4. I managed to get two...
