Windows 7 ARI Radeon RX2600XT Fails file transfers ubder Windows 7

I already updated to 7137 and installed my nVidia 6800. I ordered a new: SAPPHIRE 100265HDMI Radeon HD 4830 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card. Hopfully it will solve the problem. My 6800 gives me a score of 2.0 Thanks for your help.

Windows 7 ARI Radeon RX2600XT Fails file transfers ubder Windows 7

I've defragmented and installed the latest drivers several times with the same result. The problem appears only after Windows 7 has been installed. Works perfect on Vista. There is a possibility of a defect in the card that Vista didn't see but Windows 7 is exploiting?

Windows 7 ARI Radeon RX2600XT Fails file transfers ubder Windows 7

The score for primary drive is 5.9 The drive is partitioned into 2 LU's. Moving file from D>C or C>D causes the problem. I've also moved the file from a Secondary drive (E & F) to primary drive (C & D). I've also tried from a USB to primary and secondary to and from USB. Every combination has...

Windows 7 ARI Radeon RX2600XT Fails file transfers ubder Windows 7

I've completed a clean install and an upgrade and it doesn't matter. This same thing has happened from the first release of Windows 7 thru 7137, so, it can't be an ISO problem. The hard drive has been defragged, and also reformatted. I don't think it's a Video card problem. I think it has...

Windows 7 ARI Radeon RX2600XT Fails file transfers ubder Windows 7

Ok, I've updated my stats. I installed the latest ATI drivers and the latest hardware drivers with no luck. I've also tried the ATI drivers from Windows update and the windows 7 hardware drivers from the fresh install and nothing has worked. I installed my GForce 6800 and did a new install...

Windows 7 ARI Radeon RX2600XT Fails file transfers ubder Windows 7

I have a MSI RX2600XT video card. The problem I'm having is while file transfers the dsisplay starts to flash and I need to reboot after long file transfers. This is also not allowing me to backup at night becuse the file is 30GB in size. After a long period of trying different things I...

Windows 7 ASUS P5N32-SLI Deluxe - Anyone Using with Windows 7127?

I'm having a problem in pin pointing the problem I'm having. Brand new fresh install allowed updating using the Windows update only and turning off the internet and not allowing any updates to apply. MB: Asus P5N32-SLI Deluxe CPU: Intel Pentium D 3.20GHz Ram: 4GB BIOS Version: 502 Graphics...

Windows 7 Windows 7 Installation Halts at "Starting Windows"

I had a simalar problem using a ASUS P5N32-SLI Deluxe MB. It seems that I need to ENABLE the Memory Remap in the BIOS to get past this problem. I was told by ASUS that the MB didn't support 64bit Vista. I have no idea why but I was able to get Windows 7 to install and load almost all my...

Windows 7 Help With Installing 64bit

It looks like he has a pretty clean system and those listed are MINOR issues. ONLY PowerShell needs to be removed, because Windows 7 will NOT install until it's removed. However I would suggest he also remove Daemon Tools. There are some acceptable Daemon Tools replacements if he REALLY needs...

Windows 7 USB Transfer Kills System

I have a sort of external reader. It's where my floppy should be and connected directly to the MB. I'll try your suggestion on the next reload of Windows 7. I'll just unplug it before updating. I did try a fresh install and it did the same exact thing. So updating or fresh install proves no...

Windows 7 USB Transfer Kills System

Ok, so your external USB drive when moving a 25GB plus file was locking up on a white screen. Now you disconnect your card reader (which I have one) and you can now transfer a single 25GB plus file with no lockups?

Windows 7 USB Transfer Kills System

The system Locks at a white screen. I have tried it on an external 3.5 USB drive and a 2.5 USB drive. They both fail right at the same place on the transfer each time. I can reimage my Vista back on, and the same file transfers just fine on both drives. I know it's not normal to transfer a...
