    Thanks Saltgrass. Installed a vista driver for soundMAX from samsung and all now ok.

    Hi, upgraded from xp to win 7. (custom install) and now have no sound on laptop. System shows driver installed and working properly but obviously its not. Any help. Laptop is a Samsung NP-Q35. Thanks.
