    Windows 7 passwords

I agree with Mike. But here is my crude way. For sites I really visit often, I log in and after I am all logged into the site, I save that as a "favorite" or "bookmark" whichever you have. Then, I just click that bookmark and when I get in I am already logged on.

FIXED! @ Trouble, U R a good troubleshooter! Reason I didn't think replace battery is because I had replaced that one about 3 year ago. And as old folks think, "it was just new a while ago". I waited couple of days before this reply to convince myself that it was fixed. After new battery, I...

Windows 7 Weird Custom Sound Issue

Yep, I agree with CommonTater. I like to customize my sounds and at times i have had something real noisy at startup. You probably want to set some lightweight, tame sound for "start program", and for "close program"

    Windows 7 COM Surrogate error

Ya, I think kaspersky is very good, but I'm running free Avira. It seems that many different things can cause this Com Surrogate thing. By all means, keep some sort of anti-virus program, don't go online without something.

    Windows 7 COM Surrogate error

I had a go-around with that thing, same error that you showed us. I Googled, and found about a million solutions. The solution to mine was an update to my video card drivers. I'm not saying that will help you, just sharing. I'm running Win.7 - 64 bit.

Windows 7 how to change windows 7 start up sound\ logon sound

I did this, and I like the result. Now if I can just relate to you enough to help. First off, there AIN'T no easy way. Next, it would be easier if you could do Linux, or if you are dual-booted with XP. I suspect older windows than XP would do. There is another thread here in these 7Forums at...
