    Windows 10 SD card reader not detected

    My SD card is not detected - no sound on insertion into the integrated card reader, invisible in File Explorer, Device Manager and Disk Management on my desktop (HP Pavilion 500, Windows 10 Home, all updates) . It works fine on my laptop however. I see 'unknown device' under 'Other devices'...
