I had the same issues. I used WMP 12 works but no subs same issue with WMP Classic too. I install VLC but I hated that the subs would disappear when I paused the video and I don't know why it does that or how to correct it. I ended up using Zoom player which works pretty good in Win7. Thanks...

I had the same issue until I customized the sleep mode to NOT turn off USB. If you go to the Power Options -> USB Settings -> USB selective suspend setting -> Disabled I have a Logitech MX 5000 Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse and even though the system seemed to respond it just wouldn't come back...
After a few days of use now, I have the message, "This copy of Windows is not genuine" at the bottom. I haven't even use the update windows option yet. Well it failed. Just curious though.
