When I was cleaning up, yes, I was deleting from my D drive (PATA Maxtor). When I did my little test to figure out what was going on, I was deleting and restoring to the desktop.
Yeah, I already did that. Looking inside of C:\$RecycleBin, all I see is a file/object called "Recycle Bin" that has the Recycle Bin's icon...and opening it shows me the exact same thing I see if I double click the icon on the desktop, an incorrectly empty Recycle Bin
The only thing I've done was a command prompt level command to disable the digital signature checking for drivers on boot. Had to do that because I had 3 drives that wouldn't so up if it did the check. Beyond that...nothing.
No...i wasn't deleting installed programs. I said these were old saved programs...zips stored on one of my other hard drives. And when you delete around 6 copies of Winamp, about 4 saved CD images of programs, etc...yeah, you stack up to 4gb pretty quick. And no I hadn't exceeded the Recycle...
