sorry I don't have a solution for you, but i do have a similar problem. My drivers are recognized after hibernation, but only Windows sounds play. Itunes, WMP, even flash sites like youtube refuse to play audio or video after I sleep or hibernate. Only restarting the computer fixes the problem...
