i have HP Probook 640 G1 with intel core i5 cpu and 8 GB ram. i have windows 10 Enterprise. And to make it clearer the indexer goes to 100% cpu usage only when i type words in the search bar.
About six months ago i updated my windows 10 to 1803. but after that, when ever i type two or more words on windows search the indexer takes all the cpu that even the music will stop playing until i stop typing. what is the problem causing this?
I uninstalled the Intel graphics driver with DDU as Kemical suggested and it worked fine with the basic adapter. then i downloaded the latest version of the driver from hp website and when i installed the driver the problem came back again. and I don't know how to make Linux live-CD/DVD.

i did what you said and i reinstalled the driver from hp website for my model. there was an improvement in the speed but the screen keeps tearing when i opened the games. could it be the newer version of the driver that is causing the tearing? i remember updating the driver about two months ago.
