actually this site already has other thread that mention cloudbacko, xcopy and sync if backup through free stuff. When you said you are not satisfied with synctoy, may you share what you are not satisfied with? I find it easy to use.

Window does have wbadmin and schedule to do that. Or cloudbacko, multcloud, etc. They are freeware.

Just curious if there is a way that I could monitor people from going to prohibited site at work?

window 8 also got frozen for me. I did ran the cmd suggested above but didn't fixe that. if look into event viewer, what would the log say? as I can't find error there.

Thank you for the suggestion. I should try this out. I also ran into a free backup solution called cloudbacko...so I should try all these and see what's the best among. In fact, all I need is only to backup outlook, files and autocad drawing.

That sounds complicated. I also encounter same problem. Is there other way to backup safely with central report telling if backup success or fail? If failed, what's failed in backup? Thanks.
