what the hell is going on i did have (for a short time) windows 7 ult & windows XP Pro on my computer That started to play up so i reinstalled windows 7 on a clean fresh drive on its own everythin was hunky doory.... got a good copy of ubuntu 9.10 from the origanal website stuck it on a disc...

lol funny you should mention that... i had an ABIT NF7-M Board not so long ago but i fried the chip by running the computer without the chipset fan plugged in (i no what a plonker lol) but i still have the processor its an AMD Athlon XP and is there nothin i can do with that ?????

yep thanks i have done that and it worked cheers but it does it everytime i start the machine...win xp is ok no problems with that...i dont really want to lose win xp but if i had a choice i would have to format the C drive and put a clean copy of win 7 on it and then partition the C drive and...

i have a problem i have installed windows 7 on another drive because i wanted to keep win xp pro, win xp pro was on my C drive so i installed Win 7 on my D drive everything was ok for a week and know everytime i boot up it says it cant find winload.exe... and i have to insert my disc ????

yeah your spot on there pal.. ive used open suse 11.1.. ubuntu 10.4 windows 7 ult.. windows vista.. windows XP pro ...windows home.. ubuntu & linux you cant beat it.. alltho windows 7 comes very very close lol ans best os for me is mac but don't have the money to get :(
