Just an afterthought... are there any other firewall anti-virus programs better than MSE Windows firewall or is it worth trying the Zone Alarm patch? Just wondering. SevenD

I have been testing the system all afternoon and evening and it appears that the BSOD problem was in fact zone alarm. I'm running MSE and Windows firewall for now. Many thanks to Elmer, Trouble and nmsuk for your help. Thanks, SevenD
