I have no idea what you are complaining about.. I love the Windows 7 startbar and is hands-down the best startbar they have ever created. it's quick, pleasant on the eyes, and accomplishes the needed tasks (pinned items, most recent used, and easy access to CP/My Computer/local docs)

do not "upgrade" do a clean format of Windows XP and then do a clean install of Windows 7

I've had only _one_ case of this happening randonly. I've been using Windows 7 for over 1 year. Not everything about 7 is 100% perfect I guess :P

it's the processors. Pentium 4 is crap compared to the i5.
