    Windows 7 Games Menu Slowdown?

    Is itjust me, I click on the start up window logo (would be the start menu), all programs, then games, then wait. All the games are listed without an icon for a bit (first time after boot). But even on recursive attempts, it's much faster, but still slow. That is the only menu that I've seen...

    Tried your command in the 'dos' prompt. Came up as expected. But clicking on the down arrow in the far right of the box where it says "> Computer > Local Disk (C:) >" and just barely left of the 'Refresh' button, the box that pops up there is empty. And this is with an absolutely vanilla install...

    I just did a fresh install to 32-bit (needed a working VPN that I didn't have to pay 150 clams for...) and it also does the same thing.

    Right-click on 'Computer' and select 'Properties' or select System from the Control Panel, it reports I have 16G of Memory. Don't I wish. I only have 2G.
