The information is appreciated. But unfortunately MAC Word does not allow saving to Normal.dotm, after opening Normal.dotm as instructed. When opening Normal.dotm, the auto named document that actually opens is "Document1" etc., not Normal.dotm. If I do attempt saving, it merely is saved as...

Unfortunately this does not hold for "TAB" default.
