i didn't necessarily need to. When the problem first occured i thought maybe it was a software issue. I formatted my drive and reinstalled Windows as a precaution but this didnt solve the issue.

Also, this system runs beautifully when it is in windows, no errors what so over. So i cant see it being a compatibility issue.
