Microsoft Introduces Carbon-Aware Windows Updates for a Greener Future
What's this nonsense? When devices are plugged in, turned on, connected to the internet and regional carbon intensity data is available, Windows Update will schedule installations at specific times of the day. 1) The amount of power used by windows update is negligible, why waste time with...- Sunny Rio

Copying multiple sets of files at once
Actually it seems quite sensible, it's only doing it if I'm trying to access a mechanical hard disk twice at once. So you save on seek times. By the way, when I used robocopy to delete windows.old (because windows refused), windows insanely actually followed some symbolic links and deleted...- Sunny Rio

Copying multiple sets of files at once
Is it just me, or have Microsoft removed their brilliant feature of copying two sets of files at once? I copy a big set of files. It's taking ages. I tell it to copy another set. The first set pauses! Why? I want the quickest to end first, so something is achieved earlier!- Sunny Rio

How do I stop windows joining taskbar buttons for buttons for the same app?
I don't mean "grouping", which seems to be something to do with turning off the labels and nothing to do with groups. I mean.... I have 5 apps open, one of them has three windows. They're joined on the taskbar, I try to move one of them along past another app, it won't do it! The whole group...- Sunny Rio

What keys can I use for keyboard shortcuts for shortcuts?
Oh I found one, CTRL-SHIFT-M. CTRL-SHIFT-F12 wasn't accepted for example. Why don't they tell you in the dialog box?! And it's useless, it won't work if I'm playing a game in bluestacks android emulator, which is why I needed it!- Sunny Rio

What keys can I use for keyboard shortcuts for shortcuts?
I can't google this, as it just sees the word shortcuts twice and doesn't understand. When you create a shortcut icon, then go to properties, you can make a keyboard shortcut to run the shortcut. What keys are valid? I've tried all sorts, but it just doesn't run it.- Sunny Rio

Mouse jumping to the window which is in focus
If I have app A in focus, then change to app B, then press alt-esc to put app B in the background, app A is now in focus. My problem is the mouse cursor jumps to the centre of app A. Why? Where do I turn off this "helpful" behaviour? I had to hunt down the mouse cursor!! This is made worse...- Sunny Rio

Suggestion to Move 'New Post' Button to Top of Forum Page
There seems to be no place for discussion of the forum itself, so I'll stick it here. Could we please have the make new post button at the top where I can find it instead of having to scroll through the whole page?- Sunny Rio
