Re: Re: Clean Install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit without Disc Oh, thanks. I didn't realize there were legitimate sources for ISO's. Unfortunately the links for ultimate don't work there. I'm looking for it elsewhere now...

Windows 7 Clean Install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit without Disc

I've been trying to do some research. It seems like there is no legitimate way to just clean install if you don't have the disk without buying the whole OS again? That's really, really lame. I don't understand why Microsoft wouldn't allow to you just download the install files if you can provide...

Windows 7 Clean Install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit without Disc

I have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and I ran into some problems while upgrading the HDD. At this point I think it would be best to just start over and clean install. I feel like my OS was starting to get gunked up anyway. So, I made a list of all my software and know where to get it all again...

    Windows 7 New HDD Problem

It finally stopped attempting repairs and said it cannot repair this computer automatically. I guess I should try it again a couple more times...? Edit: It just failed instantly two more times when I tried startup repair again without restarting. Am restarting now and trying startup repair again.

    Windows 7 New HDD Problem

I really appreciate the quick advice. I am fairly sure that it was booting from the new HDD. I checked again and it was definitely at the top of the boot order. I tried selecting the hard drive manually from the boot list again too and it booted up into windows and showed the same issue. So, I...

    Windows 7 New HDD Problem

I just installed a new internal HDD. First, I created a system image using windows backup. Then I made a windows recovery disk on CD. Next I took out the old HDD, and replaced it with the new one. The new one is hooked up to a different port with a different wire because it is a sata 6.0 gb/s...
