No, Macrium Reflect does not automatically do the right stuff. The safe way indeed is the "bcdboot H:\Windows /s S: /f UEFI" command with the correct partition letters.

My question was a bit vague: With "pure system partition" I did not mean the small EFI partition at the start of the drive but the big OS partition "C:\Windows". If I restore only this partition back to a working Windows drive, will it still work, will it still boot successfully?

Now that I have *three* bootable windows installations on my machine, can I for restoring system backups restore only the pure System partition from a backup into one of the workable Windows versions to be on the safe side for booting from this restored Windows?

Must I boot WinPE / Macrium Rescue / Windows install USB or can I either boot one of my identical internal Windows installs or a bootable copy of it on an external SSD (made by DiskGenius System migration)?

I could not upload it. First error: It did not show up under desktop files (or another folder that I copied it to). When I inserted the path to the file the upload aborted with "The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension." It only worked after converting it to a zip file.

I too don't think it is OneDrive. I have it as a cloud drive, but practically never use it. At least not to sync folders or files. A list of my installed programs would be useful indeed. But I have found no freee software to produce such a list. Not even a screenshot program that I could use...

I do not understand the file explorer icons in Wondows 10: Why do some drives have green checkboxes others not? What does the blue bar over the drive mean? It obviously is not the same as the bar that indicates the drive filling percentage.
