My computer has been BSOD free for two weeks now. I never used my friend's 1333Mhz RAM. It took him a couple of days to get it to me and my computer was stable so I decided to leave my RAM in. I still have his RAM if I need it but as of now my computer has been very stable. Thanks for all...
Yes, I can have it by the end of the day. By the way, my computer has been pretty stable for the past couple of days. The BSOD tend to happen infrequently so it could be awhile before I know if the problem is fixed or not.
I tested each stick individually and after 10+ passes for each stick no errors were detected. A friend of mine offered to lend me a stick of his RAM that runs at 1333 MHz to try but its not on Gigabytes compatibility list. I guess I just have to suck it up and buy some new RAM that is...
I had a thought after my post. I was looking at my mother board manual and I noticed that to enable dual channel memory, the ram must be in sockets 1 and 3. My ram is in sockets 1 and 2. Could this be the problem?

Mother Board: rev 2.0 GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3 - GA-870A-UD3 (rev. 2.0) Memory: 2x 2GB Link Removed - Invalid URL The BSOD last night happened after I updated by USB 3.0 drivers. Nothing else had been updated. I finished updating everything else after the BSOD. I'm running...
I updated the driver for USB 3.0 Hub, LAN, Realtek audio, and the Brother printer. I guess I took a screenshot of the wrong tab, sorry about that. I included a screenshot of the memory tab. I also ran memtest86 and no errors were found. I ran it for 6 passes. I checked in my BIOS the RAM...
I have been experiencing infrequent BSOD since I built my computer about a month ago. I'm pretty sure my drivers are up to date since I used driver verifier to check. I'm suspecting my RAM might be a problem since the last three BSOD were caused by ntoskrnl and my RAM fails a memory test. I...
