    I hide my desktop icons, but when I reboot they re appear, how do I keep them hidden from view without -rm 'ing them?

    Sorry I know it sounds stupid but I dont have a Home CD but I have a Home key, can I use the Windows 7 Professional CD I have to install it then activate the Home key (I understand I will loose for features) Has anyone done this?

    I have been trying this, but it says I dont have a JBM Device in my PC but it is. I check the manufacturer undew windows and it says Generic Device but ASUS only supplies JBM Micron device drivers because they only have JBMicron devices in their notebooks. Any help? I need to get onto my drive...

    Windows 7 Asus G1S Power4Gear Extreme doesn't work perfectly!

    I got Power4Gear working for me, here is what I did: Download the newest version ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- I found Version 1.0.19 (Power4Gear eXtreme) work flawlessly on Windows 7 Professional. Give it a go, now I just need the touchpad lights to work! Any more questions on ASUS software...

    I am also having this issue, here are my specs: Windows 7 Professional eSATA 1TB LaCie drive (eSATA and USB) ASUS M50Vm I have been trying to find a fix and I have only found the rescan work around so far. Any other ideas? Just really want a esier way to get my data.
