Just had the same thing happen to me... rebooted, and it's displaying the changed volume label. Odd, but at least it's back to normal... for me at least.

Yeah, that reg tweak to put the Recyle Bin in My Computer rocks! I've been doing that as the first thing on a new OS for a few years now... can't stand the Recycle Bin on my desktop! :razz:
It would've been helpful if you mentioned some of the problematic softwares you'd tried (as well as the problems you experienced), but SlySoft's Virtual Clone Drive seems to work pretty well, and it's free... SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive
