Okay ive put the driver onto my laptop so please help me, its still not picking up any wifi networks

well it wasnt my laptop originally, i got the laptop off of a friend so everything was on it already, i havent actually put the adapter onto the laptop yet, but whilst i am on another laptop is that definatly the right driver to connect to wireless?

also im running home premium, so i cant change my language

is it the ethernet or the wireless adapter i need

I suppose i could, im accessing my phone. It is saying that my wireless adapter isnt there, would you say it is the driver or has it fried it or soemthing stupid like that

Please help i factory reset my laptop, and reinstalled windows, but when it was reinstalling it would NOT let me change the language, so i carry on hoping i can change it later on, turns out i cant, i keep reading about that i have to go into control panel but nothing is there, also it wont even...
