In windows XP there is no problem in having two explorer windows showing the same folder. Strg+n?

The problem is, I dont think its a glitch! I actually think is somehow on purpose. I guess the idea was to minimize the number of icons on the icontray and to show the status on the taskbar. Unfortunately, Microsoft also tends to think that they know (after a gazzilion tests) how computers...

Make sure that after you open the first window, you navigate away from the librarie. It seems that you cannot have 2 windows showing the same folder. And to access the "Show Windows Side By Side" you have to right click on an empty space of the taskbar.

A right click on the taskbar still gives you the option to "Show Windows Side by side" Just make sure that they are the only visible windows

I do not think that is possible, although I would really like to see it happen! The only workaround that I found was: Open start menu, Drag Computer to the taskbar It will ask if you want to pin Computer to the explorer. Say yes. After that, you can access computer from the Jump List of...

Right Click on All Programs and choose Open. It should open an explorer window. But Drad and Drop is also efficient way to get things done.

Not that much! Actually, i think this problem is much worse when using small icons. The space around it actually takes almost the same amount of space of the icon itself (so doubling the needed space). A regedit fix for this would be excelent, but I hadn't had any luck so far.

I would like to see how W7 looks like in a small monitor ( 10'' or smaller). If anyone has installed W7 in a netbook I would really like to see screenshots of it. Preferably, a shot with both normal taskbar and small icons (and labels) when several windows are open: browser, explorer, msn...

The problem with ultramon (that i use in XP) is that does not take full advantage of the taskbar capabilities!

Ohh and to be perfect: Multi monitor support. I would love to have it on several screens.
