Windows 7 Installing Adobe fonts on Windows 7 64 bit computer

A lot of time has passed and we still have not heard how to install Adobe True Type fonts on our Window 7 Pro 64-bit system. Adobe Tech Support suggests that we must buy again the fonts???? The specific fonts we like are Optima, Palatino, & Eurostyle to name a few.

Windows 7 Installing Adobe fonts on Windows 7 64 bit computer

Windows 7 64-bit lack support for True Type fonts??? The issue of installing True Type Adobe fonts onto Windows 7 64-bit machines has taken an interesting twist. I made a folder from my old XP Pro machine with the fonts I needed onto a USB stick. Plugged it into my Quad Core Windows 7 Pro...

Windows 7 "Who you gonna call?"

We bought a very brand new Lenova IdeaPad [netbook/tablet] specifically to present our application for judging at the AT&T competition for "Best Mobile App" in the Open category. Because we didn't want too many variables B4 the judging we chose to connect the Lenova Ideapad S10-3t via a Sierra...

Windows 7 Installing Adobe fonts on Windows 7 64 bit computer

At Videography Lab our official type face is Optima. We did a lookup in the ReadMe file of the font and there is no mention at either Microsoft or Adobe on how to make the installation that we could find. Can someone give us a pointer? We are using MS Office 10 beta. Bob Kiger - Videography Lab

Windows 7 35 mm Scanner installs in Win7 64 bit but not in XP Mode???

We were very pleased to see our Plustek Opticfilm 7500AI jump through all the hoops of installation into Windows 7 Pro 64 bit environment. Problem is that our Photoshop CS2 is installed in the Virtual Machine > XP Mode. So what could be simpler? We just had to install the scanner again inside...

Windows 7 Playing Blu-Ray discs on my Windows 7 laptop

I followed the link to the list of Windows 7 certified [and not certified] Blu-Ray players and am honing in on two. PowerDVD and WinDVD. Way down the list is SONY Vegas which is, in reality, a high powered video editing suite. Since SONY owns the Blu-Ray patent rights, I guess they stay out of...

Windows 7 Playing Blu-Ray discs on my Windows 7 laptop

I just bought my first movie on Blu-Ray format and put it in the built in Blu-Ray Player on my ASUS Quad Core laptop running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OS. Got this error message: "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD. The disc was created in a manner that the Player does not support." There was...

Windows 7 Is it possible to have an XP system join the 7 Homegroup?

It's all working now. I think a lot of my problems were from my phobia about networking. Once I got into the Control Panel > Users it became evident from the switching options why I did not have a log on screen for ROG2, so I set it up properly. One last question. Now that I've got this network...

Windows 7 Is it possible to have an XP system join the 7 Homegroup?

OK. I have long noted a difference in the screens that my identical ROGs show when opening or closing XP. ROG1 opens a box showing my Username and Password and will not go into Windows until I respond. ROG2 goes straight into windows and has no such box. So when I click on ROG1 via the...

Windows 7 Is it possible to have an XP system join the 7 Homegroup?

Followed the instructions on "Sharing files and printers with different versions of Windows" and after disabling AVG firewall and using Windows Firewall allowing Sharing Files... I now show all three computers on Network on the Windows 7 ASUS machine. When I click on either of the ROGs a Windows...

Windows 7 Is it possible to have an XP system join the 7 Homegroup?

Thanks Randy-- It looks like pretty simple and straightforward advice. I will take off my blogger hat and put on my "network admin" hat and give it a try. Will report back as soon as done. Bob Kiger V I D I O T S . U S
