Thanks for the reply kemical..... If my version would let me uninstall ie, I would, but I guess hiding the updates might work..... :-)

New to the forum & new to w7.....sorry if the topic has been covered, but I could not find any commentary on it. 1st, updates are set to notify & not auto install.....if I don't want to install an update, how do I remove it from the list & is there a way to permanently reject that & similar...
