LesKaye....thanks...worked like a charm. I closed the Brother processes that were open in Task Manager, moved the Dell folder from the file twain32 in the Windows folder, checked it as saw it was an old dell printer so I deleted it. CC4 opened easily and I am happily scanning from my Brother MFC...
