I had a machine with Vista on it. Dual booted with Windows 7 pre release versions, and a few months later, nuked vista completely :) I don't remember how I survived on Vista :P

I forgot to try the safe mode with command prompt, which worked! I ran sfc /scannow and it works like a charm thanks, williewillus

When I resume my Windows 7 Pro x64 computer from sleep, it sometimes displays horizontal white lines and "uninstalls" the audio device until i reboot. The lines also appear during UAC prompts. What is wrong? I am running on an ATI Radeon X1200 display, AMD Turion 64 X2 processor and windows 7...
