Hi all, I am desperatly trying to install MS' .NET Framework 3.5. I downloaded it from the MS site, but whenever I try to execute the .exe file, it gets unpacked and nothing happens. I unpacked the .exe file manually then and tried to open the setup tool manually. However still nothing happens...

hmm just installed it this morning. I got internet access via network and it's working fine. I guess I'll do some indepth tests this weekend.

G-Data Antivirus 2009 (Win7 64bit) - crashes system, unrecoverable

I am trying Norton 360 3.0 (Beta) - as suggested by MS. Until now it seems to run fine. I'd rather not try G-Data AV 2009 again! ;)

I've been using G-Data with Vista, but will keep crashing my Win7 64. Heard Norton 360 isn't working either. Any sensible suggestions?

works for me though. x-fi titanium. used the vista 64-bit drivers

actually it ran quite fine with g-data antivirus for several boots and 1 1/2 days. ;) so I am not quite sure it's g-data's fault. Anyway: I cannot uninstall in safe mode. :/
