Well, i think that this release rate is great, because it just about fits the timespan where i buy a new laptop. About every two years, that way i can still get some decent money for the old one.

I don't think that it'll be the last windows. Or at least i don't think that it'll be the last OS out of Microsoft. They might come up with a new name for it, but i doubt it. You have to remember that the PC has become much more mainstream since the DOS days, and people are used to the name...
