I have a Dell desktop and I am currently running Windows 7 and I would like to install Ubuntu on separate hard drive in same computer. My question is, when I install Ubuntu, do I keep Win 7 hard drive plugged in or do I remove it. Thanks Zavier

I agree 100% with davehc. EasyBCD is a Vista only program so you will have problems when you delete Win 7. Zavier

Download and install EasyBCD 1.7.2 (that's the one I have) in Windows 7. Open EasyBCD and go to "change settings" Make XP your default OS. Click save Delete Windows 7 from boot loader. Click save. Re-boot. Will now only see one entry for XP. Now you can delete Win 7 from hard drive. zavier

Win 7 is gone....Its' not on C: or D: or anywhere. It WAS on disk 3, second partititon. I think now everything in my PC is correct. Win 7 still does not install so it's a bad CD. I need another copy of the ISO to burn another CD In the meantime, I will wait for Win 7 final release and buy...
