... I downloaded it from the attachments and it extracts just fine, what are you trying to decompress it with? I've re compressed it with a "softer" compression and re-uploading here, just in case..

It's a clean install, the problem started randomly. No, the programs have nothing in common. I use ESET Nod32, wich does not cause this problem. The log file extracts just fine for me, and its in english..

I've no clue what that one is for, but everything that I've installed on that computer was directly downloaded from the manufacturer and was the last version available at the time. I'll email my friend and tell him to run sfc, tho' I'm pretty sure I've already ran it at some point.
