A sleek gaming PC with red-lit fans sits beside a monitor in a dimly lit gaming room.
ASUS Republic of Gamers is giving its premium gaming desktop two distinct jobs: run demanding games and become the centerpiece of the room. The ROG G1000 combines a separately chambered cooling system with customizable AniMe Holo visuals, making its chassis almost as much of a talking point as its processor and graphics card.

According to InsiderPH, ROG Philippines introduced the desktop on September 29, 2026, alongside the limited-edition ROG Slash Backpack Edition 20 and ROG Slash Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20. The announced introductory desktop price is PHP 399,995, through select ROG Exclusive Stores.

The useful distinction for prospective buyers is between what the Philippine configuration includes, what the broader platform supports, and what ASUS claims its engineering can achieve. Those are three different things—not interchangeable entries on a specification sheet.

The Philippine configuration, not the maximum-spec fantasy

InsiderPH identifies the local G1000 configuration as an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D paired with ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 graphics. TechBeatPH’s launch coverage adds the model identifier GM1000TY-R9800X009WS and lists:

  • 32GB DDR5 memory, installed as two 16GB modules.
  • 1TB SSD storage.
  • A 1,000W Gold-rated power supply.
  • A bundled gaming keyboard and mouse.

These are reported local-bundle details, not a promise that every G1000 sold internationally has identical specifications.

Likewise, the advertised 128GB DDR5 support is an expansion ceiling, not the memory supplied in that Philippine configuration. Buyers should request the exact SKU and written bundle specification before ordering; “up to” has an impressive talent for doing heavy lifting in product advertising.

Cooling: separation is the substantive engineering story

ASUS describes the G1000’s Tri-zone airflow as separating the CPU, GPU and power supply into individually managed thermal areas. The CPU’s ROG Thermal Atrium houses a 420mm all-in-one liquid cooler in a chamber separate from the main chassis, drawing outside air rather than relying on air already warmed by other components.

The graphics section has its own substantial airflow provision: ASUS lists two 200mm front intake fans, a 140mm rear exhaust and a 140mm bottom intake. The power supply occupies a separate shrouded compartment. A physical Fan Key allows users to trigger maximum airflow.

ASUS’s earlier technical explanation also specifies three 140mm fans serving the CPU radiator. This confirms that the Thermal Atrium is more than a decorative name for a conventional cooler installation: it changes where the radiator obtains its cooling air.

The practical interpretation: separating heat sources is a credible design approach, but the layout alone does not establish quieter operation, lower component temperatures or higher sustained frame rates. Those outcomes require measurements under defined workloads. Maximum airflow is a control option, not proof of an optimal everyday noise profile.

AniMe Holo is a display system—not extra cooling

The visual centerpiece uses three rotating, LED-equipped display fans: one on the side and two at the front. ASUS’s product documentation explains that their rotation creates the apparent images, with the display modules housed separately from the primary thermal airflow. They should not be confused with the fans responsible for cooling the CPU and GPU.

Armoury Crate manages custom AniMe Holo content, including MP4, GIF, JPEG and PNG files. The front displays support independent, synchronized and combined presentation modes. ASUS also cautions that rotational imaging differs from a conventional screen and can exhibit slight variations in image stability.

ROG markets this as the first holographic fan system in a prebuilt gaming PC. That remains a manufacturer claim, qualified in its documentation by ASUS’s market research and knowledge as of December 2025—not an independently established industry verdict.

For someone who wants animated artwork or personal branding on a desktop, the feature has an obvious purpose. For someone interested only in performance, it is an aesthetic feature to assess separately from the hardware.

Edition 20 travel gear has a separate arrival window

InsiderPH reports Philippine prices of PHP 10,995 for the backpack and PHP 15,995 for the luggage, with both scheduled for Q4 2026. That is an October–December availability window, not a confirmed shipping day.

ASUS’s official Edition 20 announcement corroborates the backpack’s support for laptops up to 18 inches, roll-top design and magnetic Fidlock buckle. It also identifies water-repellent materials and anniversary gold detailing. For the luggage, ASUS specifies a polycarbonate shell, reinforced aluminum frame, strengthened corners, spinner wheels and a dedicated gaming-equipment compartment.

These accessories belong to ROG’s broader anniversary collection. However, ASUS separately announced a G1000 Edition 20 with a special colorway, gold badge and individually engraved serial number. The Philippine launch reporting does not establish that the locally priced desktop is that commemorative model.

What buyers should take away

The G1000’s strongest technical talking point is its separated cooling architecture; its most conspicuous differentiator is AniMe Holo. Neither should obscure the actual purchase specification.

Before committing, ask the retailer to confirm the installed memory and SSD, exact desktop SKU, warranty terms, physical dimensions and delivery availability. For the travel accessories, check compartment fit against the equipment you actually carry rather than relying solely on an advertised laptop screen size.

ASUS has presented a desktop designed to be seen as well as used. Whether that combination justifies its premium is a question of measured performance, ownership practicality and personal preference—not how convincingly the chassis can put on a light show.
