Bechtle has bought a Manchester Microsoft partner that builds AI, analytics and Power Platform solutions. The company has acquired Manchester's Bespoke XYZ and its subsidiary Savvy. Bechtle announced the deal on 5 November 2026, and trade press picked it up the next day. If you run Microsoft 365, Power Platform or Fabric, this matters mostly as a signal about the services market. It is not a product change. Nothing in the reporting suggests the deal alters Microsoft software, pricing or support.

Business teams collaborate in a modern city office, connected by digital tools and a network map of Europe. What Bechtle bought

The two companies do different jobs:

  • Bespoke XYZ. Founded in 2013, Bespoke specialises in Microsoft-based AI, data analytics and Power Platform solutions. Coverage of the deal also names Fabric and Copilot. German trade outlet IT Reseller describes the work as Microsoft-based solutions for AI, data analysis and automation, including Power Platform, Fabric and Copilot. The reports also mention AI agents.
  • Savvy. Savvy is an MSP focused on the education sector. It offers IT support, Microsoft 365, licensing, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity services.

The reporting doesn't say how many customers Savvy has. It doesn't say which Microsoft 365 products it supports, or whether it will be folded into Bechtle's existing managed-services work.

The numbers

  • Headcount. The deal brings 52 employees to Bechtle, including an offshore delivery team in the Philippines.
  • Sales. Bespoke's sales were about £3.5m in the 2025/26 financial year, according to IT Europa. That is a sales figure, not profit and not a valuation. The reporting doesn't break it down by business line or say whether it includes Savvy.
  • Price. Computer Weekly's Microscope notes that the terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 6 November report from IT Reseller says the same.
  • Acquisition count. Bechtle calls this its sixth acquisition in the UK and Ireland. Most of those have come in the past four years. IT Europa's account says four UK deals since 2022, plus ITQuotes in Ireland last month.

For scale, Bechtle is a large group and this is a small deal. A business of about £3.5m in sales and 52 people is a bolt-on. The interest is in the capabilities it adds.

Integration plans

This isn't a cold handshake. Bechtle and Bespoke had already worked together on customer projects for more than two years. That makes it a partner brought in-house rather than a new relationship.

The structure is deliberately light for now. The plan is initially to run Bespoke as an independent business under Bechtle UK. Founders Sam Bright and Jordan Brookes will remain and continue to drive its development alongside Bechtle. No timetable has been given for any later reorganisation or rebranding.

Bechtle's AI pitch

James Napp, Bechtle's regional director for UK&I, framed the deal around customers who don't know where to start with AI. He said Bespoke will form the foundation of Bechtle's AI Practice.

That is a stated intention. It doesn't show that a fully operational AI practice has launched, that every customer can buy these services today, or that any customer outcomes exist. IT Reseller adds that the group wants to use the know-how in other European national subsidiaries. That is a possibility rather than a confirmed rollout.

Why Microsoft admins should care

I'm offering analysis here, not reporting. Three points stand out.

  1. Microsoft AI is increasingly delivered through partners. Copilot, Fabric and Power Platform projects tend to need data preparation, governance and process redesign. Large resellers are buying the people who do that work.
  2. Pairing an AI team with an MSP is deliberate. Boltwise argues that Savvy shifts the weight toward managed IT services. It reads the combination as AI and analytics up front, with delivery kept running through managed services. That is a reasonable interpretation, though it is commentary rather than something Bechtle has confirmed.
  3. Education is a distinct niche. Savvy shows that Microsoft 365 licensing and management for schools is a specialist business. Dutch outlet MSP Business notes that Bechtle hasn't said whether Bespoke's services will be offered to Savvy's customers or to other parts of Bechtle UK.

What to watch

  • Whether Bechtle announces specific AI Practice offerings built on Fabric, Copilot or Power Platform.
  • Whether existing Bespoke and Savvy customers see any change in contracts or service delivery. No such change has been reported.
  • How the "initially independent" arrangement evolves.
  • Any wider European use of Bespoke's expertise.

Bottom line

Bechtle has bought a 52-person Microsoft-focused AI, data and education-MSP business to anchor its UK AI practice. The deal is small and the price is undisclosed. It reflects how much of the Microsoft AI and Power Platform market now runs through partners. Existing customers shouldn't expect immediate change, because Bechtle says Bespoke will keep operating independently for now.
