Dynamics 365 Business Central’s agent-review update targets a practical problem: making documents that need human intervention easier to spot. Roadmap item 573369, “Agent actions review notifications on lists,” describes a new review bar on documents and lists, bringing pending agent work into the places users already navigate.

The roadmap metadata captured for this item marks it Launched, with October 2026 general availability for the Web platform in Worldwide Standard Multi-Tenant environments. That is a month-level availability statement—not confirmation that every eligible environment received the feature on October 1. Microsoft says roadmap dates are estimates and may change; the fetched public page did not expose this individual entry’s status.

What changes—and what is already documented

The important angle is list-level visibility, not the invention of agent review itself. Microsoft Learn’s Supervise agent activities, updated June 17, 2026, already documents reviewing agent work through either the Tasks pane or a document’s data review bar.

The practical benefit is easier discovery: a reviewer should have fewer reasons to hunt through a separate task view just to identify work requiring attention. That is an expected workflow benefit, not a measured productivity claim. A more visible handoff can help; it cannot make the human review unnecessary.

How to review agent-modified documents

Microsoft’s documented workflow requires an activated agent and permission to use it. On a supported document page:

  1. Select Review (N) to see modified fields.
  2. Select a field to navigate to it.
  3. Inspect its information tip for agent attribution, reasoning and confidence.
  4. Correct the value or retain it.
  5. Select Done after reviewing the suggestions.

Orange suggestion icons indicate low confidence and warrant particular attention.

Done and dismiss are not interchangeable. Done records the reviewer’s name and date, clears suggestion markers and lets the task proceed. Dismiss hides the bar and clears visible markers; Microsoft describes it as an option for reviewing later or after manual changes.

For fuller context, select the agent icon, open a task under Needs Attention, choose Review, inspect or correct the content, then select Confirm.

Do not assume every list is covered

Microsoft’s existing help page names Card, Document, List Plus and Worksheet page types—not every list. Its troubleshooting advice is to check the main document page, see whether another user completed the review, and refresh. Agent attribution can remain visible without agent-use permission, while task-opening controls are withheld.

That documentation does not independently establish the October update’s precise list-page coverage. Administrators should therefore validate the experience on their actual working lists rather than treat the roadmap wording as a universal compatibility promise.

The takeaway is modest but useful: make agent handoffs visible, then complete the review deliberately. A notification bar is a signpost—not a rubber stamp.
