An Xbox console sits amid a dramatic collage of snowy wilderness, a dark tunnel, and post-apocalyptic survivors.
Three CRITICAL REFLEX indie games are heading to Xbox, and one of them is already there. The schedule is staggered, and the Game Pass terms differ from game to game. The details below come from Xbox Wire's October 20, 2026 announcement, made alongside the ID@Xbox and IGN Showcase. Where noted, they also come from Steam listings and other coverage.

An Xbox console sits amid a dramatic collage of snowy wilderness, a dark tunnel, and post-apocalyptic survivors. The short version

  • Arctic Eggs: available now on Xbox Series X|S.
  • Mouthwashing: launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass on October 29, 2026.
  • No, I'm Not a Human: Xbox Wire gives only a 2027 window. It lists Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Game Pass, with no date or quarter.

Xbox Wire's post does not say Arctic Eggs is part of Game Pass. Treat it as a standalone purchase on Xbox Series X|S unless Microsoft says otherwise. No console price was given for any of the three.

Mouthwashing: the one with a date and a Game Pass tier

This is the title with the most concrete details, and a second Xbox Wire post fills in the plan information. Xbox Wire's Game Pass lineup post lists Mouthwashing for October 29. It is listed for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld and PC, under Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass. That makes it a day-one addition rather than a later catalog drop.

The platform lists differ slightly between sources, which is worth knowing:

  • Xbox Wire's showcase recap lists Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass.
  • The Game Pass post lists Cloud, console, handheld and PC, and does not mention Xbox One.
  • PureXbox's roundup lists Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Game Pass.

Game Pass tiers can have different device rules. Check the in-store listing on launch day before assuming your hardware is covered.

Gematsu reports a wider rollout. Mouthwashing is also coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Switch on October 29, along with a PC release via Microsoft Store. This is a platform expansion, not a debut. The game first launched on PC through Steam on September 26, 2024.

The Steam listing, as captured, shows Wrong Organ as developer and CRITICAL REFLEX as publisher. It shows a 95% positive rating across 24,889 English reviews. Those numbers change over time.

Xbox Wire's post, written by CRITICAL REFLEX's head of marketing, says the game has sold more than 800,000 copies and won Best Narrative and Players' Choice at the Horror Game Awards. I could not independently confirm the sales figure or the awards. Treat them as the publisher's claims.

Arctic Eggs: available today

Arctic Eggs is a surreal cooking game set in an Antarctic city, where eggs, beer bottles and bullets can all be ingredients. The Steam listing credits The Water Museum, cockydoody, abmarnie and Cameron Ginex as developers, with CRITICAL REFLEX publishing. It lists a PC release of May 16, 2024.

The captured listing also shows PC pricing. The game was $9.99 normally and $3.99 on a 60% promotion that ends October 26. Those are Steam PC prices at the time of capture and say nothing about Xbox pricing. Check the Xbox Store for the console price.

No, I'm Not a Human: 2027, no date

This is the vaguest of the three. Xbox Wire says developer Trioskaz's paranoia horror game, in which you decide who gets let inside during an apocalypse, has sold more than a million copies on PC. I found no separate source for that figure, so it stays attributed to Xbox Wire. The Xbox lineup is Series X|S, Xbox One and Game Pass, with 2027 as the only timing.

Why this matters for PC and Xbox users

  • Xbox on PC is named for Mouthwashing. That covers Windows players using Microsoft's Xbox app ecosystem, and the Game Pass post also lists PC Game Pass.
  • Dated and undated releases are different. October 29 is firm. "2027" is a placeholder, so don't plan around it.
  • Check your plan. Game Pass inclusion is stated for Mouthwashing and No, I'm Not a Human, not for Arctic Eggs.
  • Last-generation hardware is included, with some inconsistency. Xbox One support is named for Mouthwashing in the recap and for No, I'm Not a Human in the announcement. The Game Pass lineup post doesn't list it for Mouthwashing.

A fair read on the hype

The announcement is a publisher post. Phrases like "critically acclaimed" and "most talked-about" are marketing language. The Steam review scores support strong audience reception, but they cover PC players only, and Xbox ratings may differ. The core news is still concrete: two platform dates and one undated window. Details Xbox Wire doesn't give include price, performance targets, cross-save, and the 2027 date.

Bottom line

Arctic Eggs is playable on Xbox Series X|S today. Mouthwashing arrives October 29 as a day-one Game Pass title across several device types. No, I'm Not a Human has no date beyond 2027. Before launch day, confirm your Game Pass tier and device in the store listing, since the sources list platforms slightly differently.
